If are you traveling to Sigiriya and you are wondering how to get from Colombo airport to Sigiriya then you are at the right place! In this blog, you will learn the different means and costs of getting there. So let’s dive right into it!

In Sri Lanka, the main hub of travelers is the Colombo Airport and to get from this airport to Sigiriya there are many transportation means. You can travel by taxi, by bus or by train. All of these have different costs and benefits so you have a variety to choose from.

Located in North Sri Lanka, is the ancient city of Sigiriya which was built on a huge rock by King Kasyapa. This is why it is called Sigiriya, meaning Lion Rick. It was later abandoned when the King died and became a Buddhist monastery in the 14th century.

It is about 200 meters high and there are about 1200 steps to get to it. Usually, people visit to climb the Sigiriya rock. If that’s your plan then pack comfortable shoes and water with you as you will be needing it. It gets really hot during the day so make sure that you start your climb as early as possible.

So are you ready to explore this ancient city of Sigiriya? Then let’s see some of the transport services that are being offered while traveling from Colombo airport to Sigiriya:

Taxi From Colombo Airport To Sigiriya

The first way to travel is through a Taxi. It is the most convenient means of traveling as it will provide you with door-to-door service. You will also not be bound by time as you won’t have to hurry to catch a train or a bus.

Are you looking for an easy way to get to Les Villages nature from Charles de Gaulle? Then this blog is for you! Now you will get to know different routes and means to get to an amazing holiday destination close to everyone’s favorite Disneyland® Paris!

To save yourself from keeping the same boring routine on vacations too, you should pack your bags and visit this amazing family vacation resort, the Villages Nature of Disneyland Paris. You will find yourself living a magical life in this Disneyland Resort along with a safe and adventurous stay.

In Disneyland Paris, you will find five unique worlds (the Extraordinary Gardens, BelleVie farm, Lakeside Promenade, Forest of Legends, and Aqualagoon). It overall has an attractive woodland theme. All the required facilities are provided on the resort and it is also eco-friendly.

Your family getaway is probably going to start at the Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Air terminal. CDG hosts about 80 million travelers per year, making it France’s most active air terminal and quite possibly the most active air terminal in Europe.

The airport terminal is exceptionally huge, comprising of three significant terminals and seven sub-terminals. It tends to be overwhelming for first-time visitors, so it’s ideal to permit an additional opportunity to explore the terminals.

Now you must be wondering what’s the best way to travel from CDG Airport to Villages Nature Paris so let me tell you that there are three options for you. You can travel through a Bus, train or taxi. The most convenient option for you would be to travel through a Taxi as it is the only door-to-door service.

So let’s look at all these three options one by one in detail below:

A 24-hour customer service is also provided to people. Not only this, but if you are non French speaker then don’t worry because these Taxi drivers are fluent English speakers too. So enjoy your ride with a great conversation about the city and payment will be collected in Dollars, Pounds, or euros at the end of the ride.
